Kate Luckins

Kate Luckins is on a mission to unf*ck the planet.  She is the antidote to guilt inducing environmentalism.  Kate’s got a PhD in Sustainability, but still drives her kids to school when it rains.  So if you don’t know how to recycle, she won’t judge.

Through Sustainable Lifestyle, Kate helps busy people live better with less.  She’s had thousands of people reduce fashion waste with her Sustainable Style Edit and reduce food waste with her Fridge Edit, co-created with Naturopath and founder of Well Nourished –  Georgia Harding.  She pens a popular weekly newsletter for her community of ‘sustainable lifers’.

Fifteen years ago, Kate kick-started a global swapping movement by founding The Clothing Exchange.  She is an engaging presenter who took sustainable fashion to the UN Headquarters in Nairobi and has featured across radio, television, books and mainstream publications – from The Financial Review to Mamamia.
